TRAVEL INFO – HOW TO GET THERE

By Air

Look for flights to Split. From the Split airport, you can take taxi, public bus or airport transfer to Split.

By Ferry

On the first day 23 August, the first ferry from Split (departure: 9:00 am) arrives at 11:20 am to Vis. The second ferry (departure from Split at 3:00 pm) arrives to Vis at 5:20 pm. The ticket for the vehicle is also a reservation. Arrival at the port no later than 45 minutes before departure is required. If you aren’t traveling by car, there is a local bus that goes from Vis to Komiža, immediately after the arrival of the ferry.

On the last day 29 August, the ferry from Vis to Split departs at 12h, and there is a later one at 18h as well. For the departure of the last bus from Komiža to Vis please check the local bus timetable . If you’re leaving right after the workshop, please have your luggage ready in the dance space.

It is possible to buy tickets online, and there is also a mobile application .Online ticket is valid for any voyage on the selected date, but does not guarantee boarding at a specific departure time. Boarding is based on arrival order, so it is advisable to come earlier if it is important for you to board at a specific time.

By Bus

Each time you come to the town of Vis by a ferry-boat (the main port on the island), there is a
bus to and from the town of Komiža, 10 km distant from the town of Vis. The ride takes
fifteen minutes on a modern asphalted road.

By Catamaran (speedboat)

Other option, if you’re not coming by car, is a speed boat (catamaran). Please, follow the link for sailing schedule and price list.

ACCOMMODATION INFO AND RECOMMENDATIONS

From the experience the easiest is that you book your own accomodation, as you know your specific needs and details.

We recommend that you book your accommodation ASAP because it gets fully booked fast.

OUR DINNER OUT & DANCING AT THE BEACH PARTY TOGETHER!

We are able to have both groups together for this as it is outdoors.

This dinner is included in your workshop price. You pay only
your own drinks!

If you are bringing somebody with you to dinner (your partner, kids, family members, a friend…) who is not participating at the workshop, they are very welcome, but let us know in advance how many guests you are bringing with you, and whether they are an adult or a child, as we need to know how many people are coming in order to organize this whole event well. As your guest is not participating at the workshop, they will need to pay for their dinner themselves. We will give you the exact amount at the workshop. At the beginning of the workshop you will let us know about your food choices.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE WORKSHOP

Light clothes for dancing and sweating.

And for other times the usual things you would bring to your summer holidays ( mosquito spray, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, large beach towel, swimsuit, sandals, bottle of water for each day of workshop with your name on it, journal for writing… ).

The dancing venue has got a good dance floor for dancing barefoot. If you have any specific question please feel free to ask us.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Important Because of the uncertainty of the situation with the COVID-19, you don't have to pay the deposit in advance, and we kindly ask you to pay the entire amount only few weeks before the workshop or in cash at the workshop.

Cancellation Policy

In case you need to cancel your participation, please let us know as soon as possible. The workshop is almost fully booked and then we will have a waiting list.

If you cancel your place after 10th of July, you need to pay 70 Euro cancellation fee, unless you find somebody to take your place.

If you cancel because you got Covid-19 or you are not able to travel due to Covid-19 related laws and restrictions – you do not need to pay anything.
